Prior to the PEACEPLUS Programme opening, the SEUPB held a pre-application support workshop under Investment Area (IA) 4.2 Rural Regeneration and Social Inclusion. This workshop provided preliminary guidance to help potential applicants build their project, programme knowledge, and capacity so that they are best placed to make quality applications, with a strong focus on outcomes that meet programme targets and the overarching aim of Peace and Prosperity

The objective of this IA is to create a more cohesive society through an increased provision of shared space and services in rural areas.” It will result in strategic investment, designed to allow rural communities to thrive and reach their full economic, social and environmental potential."

An indicative budget allocation has been set at €50 million for this Investment Area.

Concept Note

A Concept Note, capturing high-level details of a project idea.

The Concept Note does not form part of the formal application process. Instead, it has been put in place to help guide potential applicants to strengthen their application (should they decide to make one) and to help with a smoother project implementation process in the event of funding being awarded.

Submission date for 4.2 Concept Notes was Wednesday 26 April 2023.
