Prior to the funding call to the new PEACEPLUS Programme opening, the SEUPB is holding a pre-application support workshop under Theme 4: Health & Inclusive Communities, Investment Area 4.1 Collaborative Health and Social Care: Addiction Services.

Key Objectives

The key objective of Investment Area 4.1 Collaborative Health and Social Care is to ‘ensure equal access to health care and fostering resilience of health systems’.

It will result in an increase in the number of ‘episodes of care’ delivered on a cross-border basis. This will support positive health and wellbeing and the prevention of ill health, through an integrated approach designed to reduce health inequalities within the Programme Area.

Addiction services has been identified as a specific intervention suitable for support, especially within those areas where there are benefits to collaborative, cross-border management approaches. Such areas lend themselves to gender specific, whole family, community-based approaches, which will contribute to many of our most vulnerable citizens leading healthier and more hopeful lives.

The SEUPB anticipates that a funding call for this Investment Area will open shortly. In advance of this, the above workshop will provide preliminary guidance to help potential applicants build their project, programme knowledge, and capacity so that they are best placed to make quality applications, with a strong focus on outcomes that meet programme targets and the overarching aim of Peace and Prosperity.

Concept Note

A Concept Note, captures high-level details of a project idea.

Any organisation interested in becoming a Lead Partner under Investment Area 4.1 may express their interest by completing and returning this Concept Note. The Concept Note does not form part of the formal application process. Instead, it has been put in place to help guide potential applicants to strengthen their application (should they decide to make one) and to help with a smoother project implementation process in the event of funding being awarded.

The closing date for submission of Concept Note was 4 July 2023.
