The environment does not recognise the existence of borders. Animal species and habitats are facing severe decline. Drinking water, rivers and coastline areas are also being polluted. Cross-border cooperation is therefore essential in order to address such issues. The following project case studies detail the support currently being provided under the INTERREG VA Programme.
