INVESTMENT AREA 3.1:
SHARED LEARNING TOGETHER PROGRAMME
(FORMAL EDUCATION)

SUPPORTING RESOURCES
(best accessed by Edge or Firefox internet browsers)

The key objective of IA 3.1 Formal Education is to ‘provide direct, sustained contact between children from all backgrounds through collaboration between and within schools, early years settings and youth organisations, to promote good relations and enhance children’s skills to contribute to a cohesive society.’.

It will result in an increase in the number of children (pre-school, primary and second level and those engaging with youth services), teachers, principals, practitioners and youth workers engaged in sustained partnerships with those from different community, socio-economic, cultural and political backgrounds in a manner which will contribute to the attitudinal and behavioural change within schools and the wider community required to build a more peaceful, prosperous and cohesive Programme Area.

An indicative budget allocation has been set at €51 million for this Investment Area.

CONCEPT NOTE

A Concept Note, capturing high-level details of a project idea, is available to download HERE (best accessed on Edge or Firefox browsers). The Concept Note does not form part of the formal application process, instead it has been put in place to help guide potential applicants to strengthen their application (should they decide to make one) and to help with a smoother project implementation process in the event of funding being awarded. Whilst the deadline for submission has now passed, potential applicants may still wish to utilise the Concept Note as a helpful template prior to making an application.

For all queries on the concept note, please use contact myriam.fearon@seupb.eu
