"DFP have received a freedom of information request from the Belfast Telegraph asking for information on Arms Length Bodies. We have also been asked to include SEUPB (by those centrally collating the information). I’ve outlined below the proposed response and would be grateful if you would confirm this is correct (in particular the salary band of the Chief Executive as I’m working from figures in the annual report and accounts 2013 and pay remit emails).

"I wish to apply under the Freedom of Information Act for a number of documents relating to the allocation of Peace Funds.
My request is for copies of audit reports or verification reports relating to the use of funds by organisations in the Republic of Ireland funded under Peace III funds and Interreg IVA funds.
I would also like to apply for any other documents, correspondence/emails between the SEUPB and individual organisations in the Republic of Ireland relating to allegations of inappropriate or incorrect use of funds.
I see from your FOI log that you have already released documents in April this year relating to “inappropriate use of Peace III funds”.  I wonder if it’s possible to get a copy of those documents?  I can always narrow down my request, if some of the information has already been released."

"Using the Freedom of Information Act I request any documentation or information that breaks down the amount of PEACE III and INTERREG IVA funding received by community organisations in Northern Ireland, the border regions of Ireland and in western Scotland.
1) I wish to know the grand total of all Peace III funding spent so far since the inception of the programme in 2007.
2) I want to know what organisations were granted funding through the programme, such as council projects, community activist organisations, community organisations, political organisations, and other bodies.
3) I would like copies of any documentation relating to the budgets of said organisations.
4) I would like to know if any organisations have had to return funds or been sanctioned for using funds inappropriately. I would like information as to which organisations these are.
5) I would like to know if and how many organisations are being reviewed or investigated for using funds inappropriately."
